Sandra
Carr has been employed at Robert R Cornell and Associates for five years as a Vocational Evaluator/Job Developer/Independent
Living Specialist. She worked with Robert R Cornell when at another agency as well. She has twenty-five years of experience
in providing services to the deaf, deaf/blind, hard of hearing, and mentally/physically challenged individuals in the area
of employment, advocacy, case management, independent living, education, health, housing, and consultation to obtain services
from state, federal and local agencies. She has worked in many community groups & businesses, including forming her own
non-profit organization know as Community Access for Independent Living to support the disabled in every day life. Always
on the go, Sandi is a member of many professional organizations including: Eastern Washington Center for the Deaf and Hard
of Hearing and the State Vocational Rehabilitation Council; develops curriculum and does training on deaf awareness, use of
sign language, and the use of TTY equipment.
In 1995 Sandi obtained both an A.A. Degree from Spokane Community College and a B.A. from Eastern Washington
University.
